On a hot summer day, two sisters and one best friend embarked on a journey involving glue guns, ribbons, and many pearls. This infamous day sadly involved an illness known commonly as Swine Flu. With nothing else to do, due to a quarantine, many headbands were made over the following weekend.

Fifty headbands later, Freda Loves Porter was born.
